合法掩護非法還是栽了！新北市淡水「八號俱樂部」電子遊藝場徐姓業者（56歲），雖領有合法執照，卻在店內暗藏賭博電玩，甚至還列印《警察職權行使法》給員工，企圖躲避警方查緝。新北市警方獲報後，由新北市警察局督察室與新北市刑大進行調查，經半年蒐證後於本周日（7日）前往查緝，當場查獲徐姓業者在內等7名員工、賭客28人，查扣131台賭博機台、現金160萬元、監視器、帳冊等相關證物，訊後依賭博罪及《電子遊戲場業管理條例》移送法辦。

據了解，新北市刑大掌握情資，位於淡水區淡金路8號的「八號俱樂部」電子遊藝場，為新北市17張有執照的電子遊藝場其中之一，至今營業已10餘年時間，近日卻涉嫌經營賭博電玩。據了解，該店採取會員制，業者讓熟客持點數卡，在店內透過俗稱「老鼠」的陳姓員工，以1：1的比例來換取現金；業者為了躲避警方追緝，更列印《警察職權行使法》給員工，刁難應付警方臨檢。

新北市警局督察室去年9月接獲線報，報請士林地檢署指揮偵辦，新北市警方本周日由刑事警察大隊、淡水分局、保安警察大隊及中和分局持搜索票前往搜索，在遊藝場內查獲涉嫌經營百家樂、7PK、老虎及機器手臂等多樣式賭博機台。

警方現場查扣131台賭博電玩機台，現金160餘萬元，現場負責人徐男子及員工陳男及賭客共35人，警訊後依違反《電子遊戲場業管理條例》及賭博罪嫌移送法辦。新北市警局長黃宗仁指出，賭博電玩易讓人沉迷及衍生治安等問題，絕不容許電子遊戲場掛羊頭賣狗肉，暗地違法經營賭博電玩，也會持續查緝，以淨化治安，給新北市民一個安居樂業優質的生活環境。
